During the year 2010, James launched a YouTube account under the name JaysCoding. On this channel, he posted videos and cover songs about his involvement in the Mario Kart Wii competitive modding scene. Additionally, he emphasizes his work as a graphic designer and web designer. Charles launched a YouTube account in December 2015, and he immediately began uploading beauty instructions to the site.

In September of 2016, a tweet that he sent out showing him retaking his senior photo while wearing makeup and using a ring light went viral. At the age of seventeen, he became the first male brand ambassador for the cosmetics company CoverGirl.

This accomplishment took place in October of 2016. A tremendous amount of appreciation was expressed on social media in response to the appointment. His first appearance was in promotions for CoverGirl’s So Lashy mascara, which was his first appearance.
