Desktop Customizing

Customize your desktop, beautify your desktop, or change your background. This chapter serves as an introduction to the process of personalizing the desktop software for the SunTM ONE Portal Server version. The document outlines the various types of adjustments and specifies who should be responsible for making such changes. Additionally, this chapter offers an introduction to the display profile, as well as examples of desktops that are supplied with the product and instructions on how to develop and deploy a new desktop and provider.

Changing Background

1. In accordance with the Windows 98 wallpaper, click the right mouse button. It’s going to start with the exhibition.

2. In order to customize your desktop, either choose the Active Desktop/Customize My Desktop option or select the background tab.

3. A dialog box named Display Properties will appear.

4. A dialog box named Display Properties will appear.

5. Click on the Apply Option.

6. You will apply this to the background desktop setting you have selected.

Screen Saver

After a certain amount of time has passed during which the computer has been idle, software known as a screensaver or screen saver will become active. In the beginning, screensavers were developed to assist in preventing pictures or text from being burned into outdated displays.

We are using the screen saver from the novel and comic book series “The Fish and the Flying Toaster.” As a result, the operator perceives the computer as operating correctly.

Process:

1. Open the Display Properties dialog box

2. Click on the Screen Saver Tab.

3. Enter the ‘Numbers of Mintues’

4. Click on the Previews Button.

Changing the Desktop Colour

1. Open the Display Properties Box.

2. Click on the Apperance Tab.

3. Choose the Colour Drop Down List.

4. Choose the Desktop, Icon, Toolbar Scheme.

5. Ok Button Click.
